Dr. David Rodwell is a Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), affiliated with the Centre for Accident Research & Road Safety – Queensland (CARRS-Q) and the School of Psychology & Counselling within the Faculty of Health. With 8 years of experience in road safety research, his work integrates developmental and social psychology to address adolescent and emerging adult driving safety, emphasizing family processes and parent-child dynamics. He has contributed to large-scale projects on Graduated Licensing Systems, driver education, and Connected Vehicle Technology (C-ITS). Beyond road safety, his research extends to mental healthcare for refugee trauma survivors and neurodevelopmental care for families of children with congenital heart disease.
