David Lundström

David Lundström is an Associate Professor at Linköping University's Department of Management and Engineering (IEI), affiliated with the Fluid and Mechatronic Systems (FLUMES) division. His research focuses on aircraft design, aerodynamics, and subscale flight testing, conducted in close collaboration with the aviation industry. He contributes to the Aeronautical Engineering Master’s Programme (120 credits), which emphasizes aircraft design and industry partnerships.

His research interests include aircraft systems, fluid power systems, and innovative flight testing methodologies. Recent work highlights low-cost experimental methods for lift estimation, challenges in subscale testing, and improved flight testing techniques using multisine inputs.
