Liselott Ericson is a Professor in the Fluid and Mechatronic Systems (FLUMES) division at Linköping University's Department of Management and Engineering (IEI). Her research focuses on hydraulic systems, particularly electrically driven hydraulics and sustainable system integration. Key projects include the Ehydraulics initiative, advancing electrification of working machines. She teaches courses such as TMHP02 and TMHP06 on fluid power systems and leads a project course in mechatronics.
Her professional commitments include board memberships in the Swedish Fluid Motion Association (SFMA) and Programnämnden för elektroteknik, fysik och matematik. She has organized conferences like Hydraulikdagarna and the Scandinavian International Fluid Power Conference (SICFP).
Research interests emphasize energy-efficient hydraulic systems, component optimization, and integration with electrical systems. Notable grants include a SEK 11.6 million collaboration for developing electric vehicle hydraulic pump technology. She advises multiple PhD students and collaborates with industry partners.
Liselott Ericson's lab, FLUMES, is part of the largest university fluid power laboratory in Sweden, emphasizing mechatronics and aeronautics. Her work bridges academia and industry, addressing challenges in sustainable machinery and fluid power innovation.
