David Lee is a Professor of Cell and Tissue Engineering at Queen Mary University of London, serving as Deputy Vice Principal - Impact (Enterprise and Commercial Innovation). He holds a BSc (Hons), MA, and PhD. His primary research focuses on mechanobiology, studying how mechanical forces influence cellular and tissue behavior, particularly in cartilage, stem cells, and circadian biology. His work has led to over 100 refereed papers and significant grant funding, including awards like the Negma Lerads Prize.
