David Langer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Suffolk University. He is currently on sabbatical during Spring 2025. His academic journey includes a PhD and MA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
His research focuses on clinical child and adolescent psychology, with particular emphasis on shared decision-making, personalizing treatment planning, and psychosocial treatment processes. Funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, he investigates methods to improve treatment efficacy for youth depression and anxiety through family-clinician collaboration.
