David Krolikoski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of East Asian Languages & Literatures at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His work focuses on modern Korean poetry, translation studies, poetics, postcolonial theory, and transnational literature. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago, along with MA and BA degrees from top institutions.

His research critically engages with colonial and modern Korean literary production, emphasizing translation as a site of cultural negotiation. His recent work includes a forthcoming monograph on colonial Korean poetic modernity and co-translations of contemporary Korean women's poetry.
