Andre Haag

Andre Haag is an Assistant Professor of Japanese Literature at the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, University of Hawaii at Manoa. His research explores intersections of empire, nation, and colony in modern Japanese literature and visual culture, with a focus on Korean anticolonial resistance and postcolonial legacies of Japanese imperialism.
