David Kreamer serves as Professor of Geoscience and former Director of the Water Resources Management Graduate Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He holds significant leadership roles including Past President of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), former IAH Vice President for Science and Programme, and past President of the Universities Council on Water Resources.
His research focuses on critical global water challenges, with primary expertise in water security, groundwater contamination, and sustainable water management in developing regions. Key research domains include:
- Groundwater-dependent ecosystem preservation in U.S. National Parks
- Water quality/quantity analysis for economically developing regions
- International water security frameworks
