Dr. David Kraichy is an Associate Professor and Acting Department Head at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (University of Manitoba), an MSc in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (University of Calgary), and a BA in Psychology (University of Manitoba). His research focuses on talent management, particularly how organizations identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees, and managers' behaviors hindering employee mobility under stress. He teaches courses such as COMM 211: Human Resource Management and COMM 348: Leadership.
His recent publications explore topics like managerial territorialism affecting employee promotion, cross-cultural management models, automated leadership assessments, and collective turnover dynamics. He has contributed to journals including the Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, and Personnel Psychology.
