David Jolley is a renowned horn performer and Lecturer at Stony Brook University, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Mannes College of Music, and Queens College-CUNY. With a career spanning decades, he is celebrated for his "remarkable virtuosity" (The New York Times) and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician internationally with groups such as the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, Guarneri Quartet, and Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. He is a founding member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and active in expanding the solo horn repertoire through commissions like Ellen Taaffe Zwilich’s "Concerto."
Jolley’s performance highlights include collaborations with the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony of Brazil, and premieres at Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall. He has six solo recordings with the Arabesque label, including works by Mozart and Strauss with the Israel Sinfonietta.
