معرفی
David Jason Koskinen is an Associate Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, specializing in astroparticle physics. He serves as a local group leader for the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and focuses on neutrino oscillations, physics beyond the Standard Model, and detector extensions to IceCube to probe fundamental particle properties.
His research is supported by a Villum Young Investigator award. He previously held a postdoctoral position at Pennsylvania State University (2009-2013), including fieldwork at the South Pole for IceCube calibration.
- Current research areas: neutrino mixing, cosmic neutrino probes, and IceCube detector development
- Key affiliations: IceCube Neutrino Observatory, Niels Bohr International Academy
Scientific Awards:
- Villum Young Investigator award
Koskinen's work bridges theoretical investigations with experimental advancements in subatomic physics, with a strong emphasis on fundamental questions in particle astrophysics.
