Dr. David J. Wilk is an Associate Professor in the Finance Department at Temple University's Fox School of Business and Director of the Real Estate Program. With 34 years of academic experience, he has taught at institutions including the University of Delaware, Johns Hopkins University, and Georgetown University. His expertise spans real estate valuation, economic development, and urban revitalization strategies.
Education: BS in Business Administration (University of Delaware), MS in Real Estate and Infrastructure (Johns Hopkins University), DBA (Temple University).
Research focuses on optimizing real estate assets for enterprises, inclusive place-making, and social infrastructure innovation. His work emphasizes strategies to reimagine undervalued urban neighborhoods without gentrification. He has advised on high-profile projects like Pebble Beach Company, Madison Square Garden, and NASA Wallops Island.
He co-invented the CREED® analytics platform with SAP and founded i3o consulting, focusing on innovation-driven optimization. His community service includes leading the Friends of Hockessin Colored School #107 to create a social equity center.
Teaches courses on real estate investment, development, and corporate asset management. Active in industry conferences and has presented over 10 symposia since 2012.
