Professor David Ivan D'Arcus Attwell is a leading scholar in postcolonial studies and South African literature at the University of York’s Department of English and Related Literature. With a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, he has held visiting professorships at institutions including the University of Texas, University of Stockholm, and Kwara State University, Nigeria. His work bridges African literary theory, cultural translation, and anglophone African writing.
