Dr. David H Soren is a Regents Professor of Anthropology and Classics at the University of Arizona's College of Humanities, and Director of the Orvieto Institute in Italy. He holds a B.A. from Dartmouth, and M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University. His research focuses on Roman and Etruscan archaeology, fieldwork in Tuscany, Roman architecture, and interdisciplinary studies linking classical art with cinema and performance (including Vaudeville and tap dancing).
