David Grossnickle is an Assistant Professor in the Natural Science department at Oregon Institute of Technology's Klamath Falls campus. His academic work bridges evolutionary biology, paleontology, and anatomical studies with a focus on mammalian evolution.
His research program investigates deep time evolutionary histories using fossil and modern mammals as primary study organisms. Methodologies include biomechanical modeling, paleoecological analysis, phylogenetic comparative methods, and morphometrics, primarily utilizing museum collection data augmented by fieldwork.
