معرفی
David Green is a Senior Lecturer at Halmstad University's School of Business, Innovation and Sustainability. His research focuses on developing functional materials using nanocomposition approaches, particularly in inorganic crystalline host phases like calcium carbonate and gypsum. He explores emergent material properties by mixing known materials to influence molecular orientation, light absorption, and energy transfer. His current work also extends to organic molecular crystalline nanocomposites.
Research interests include material synthesis, nanotechnology, crystal engineering, and the application of advanced microscopy techniques. His recent publications highlight innovations in calcite growth mechanisms, drug delivery systems, and optoelectronic material characterization. David teaches courses in general and environmental chemistry, scientific writing, and research methodology at Halmstad University.
Key research themes span functional nanocomposites, controlled drug release systems, and structural analysis of crystalline materials using techniques like ptychographic X-ray tomography. His work bridges fundamental material science with practical applications in biomedical and energy fields.
