David Grant is a Professor of Materials Science and Director of the Propulsion Futures Beacon at the University of Nottingham. He leads the Advanced Materials Research Group, focusing on cutting-edge solutions in energy storage and biomaterials.
His research spans two primary areas:
- Energy Storage Systems: Investigating alloy and intermetallic hydrides, complex light metal hydrides, and multi-component systems for hydrogen and thermal storage.
