David Gorin is a Professor of Chemistry at Smith College. His research spans organic and bioorganic chemistry, focusing on developing selective chemical catalysts for biological contexts and safer methylation strategies using stable reagents. Prior to joining Smith in 2011, he conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University as an American Cancer Society-Canary Foundation Fellow.
