David E. Rogers serves as an animation teacher in the Cinema Production major at Bob Jones University's Department of Cinema Arts within the School of Fine Arts and Communication, instructing courses including Animation Production (Ci 315) and The Art of Animation - 2D (Ci 314).

- MA in Cinema and Video Production from Bob Jones University
- BS in Secondary Education from Pearl Valley Baptist College
Rogers' professional expertise spans animation production and film development, with specialized interests in 2D/3D animation techniques, digital imaging, and special effects. He maintains a dual career as a key contributor to Unusual Films since 1995 (and previously 1985-1993), where he participated in the award-winning feature film "Milltown Pride" across multiple production phases including pre-production planning, art direction, props fabrication, and post-production visual effects. His freelance portfolio includes animation work for CBN, Djubi, Jackson Advertising, and Need Comfort Ministries.
Active in community service, Rogers has dedicated 23 years to Suber Road Baptist Church with 17 years of Sunday School teaching, plus leadership roles as Sunday School Superintendent, Usher, Trustee, and VBS Director. He resides with his wife Tammie and four children (Ethan, Emily, Heidi, Roy), pursuing outdoor activities like camping and bicycling alongside woodworking in his personal time.
