David Dixon

Dr. David Dixon is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Manchester Metropolitan University, working in the King-Regmi Research Group under Prof. Laurie King and Dr. Yagya Regmi. Based in the John Dalton Building with office hours from 8-4, he leads electrocatalyst development projects for water splitting through the Greater Manchester Electrochemical Hydrogen Cluster (GMEHC) in collaboration with industrial partners.

He holds a PhD where he pioneered research in harm reduction and illicit drug testing, developing validated analytical methods for controlled substance detection and quantification. His educational background includes advanced training in analytical chemistry and materials science.

Dr. Dixon's research spans two critical domains:
