Dave Dixon

Dr. Dave Dixon is a Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), specializing in the development and characterization of electrochemical catalysts for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) in water-splitting technologies. He is affiliated with the King-Regmi Research Group under Prof. Laurie King and Dr. Yagya Regmi, and actively collaborates with industrial partners through the Greater Manchester Electrochemical Hydrogen Cluster (GMEHC).

Research Interests: Dave focuses on electrocatalysts for sustainable energy applications, particularly in OER optimization. His earlier work during his PhD addressed harm reduction and illicit drug testing, developing analytical methods for controlled substance detection.
