David Coury

David Coury is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, affiliated with the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, with appointments in Humanistic Studies (German) and Global Studies. He is also Co-Director of the Center for Middle East Studies and Partnerships and an advisor for the International Business Minor.

• M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati

His research explores contemporary German cinema, European literature, and the intersection of Eastern and Western cultures, focusing on globalization's impact on identity and cultural/political tensions in Europe. He directs the Green Bay Film Society and contributes to Film Green Bay's board.
