D. Christopher Dearborn is a Clinical Professor of Law at Suffolk University School of Law, where he teaches in the Suffolk Defenders Program. Prior to joining Suffolk, he served as a Senior Associate at the Boston law firm Rankin & Sultan, focusing on criminal defense in state and federal courts, and spent nine years as a Staff Attorney with the Committee for Public Counsel Services representing indigent defendants.

Research Interests center on criminal defense, constitutional law, and legal education. His work emphasizes practical trial practice and the interpretation of the Massachusetts Declaration of Rights.
Publications include analyses of Miranda rights, impeachment law, and constitutional procedure in criminal trials, reflecting his expertise in criminal defense and judicial practice.
