Dr. David Chilosi is a Lecturer in Economic History at King's College London's Department of Political Economy, within the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy. He teaches economic history and has held prior academic positions at the University of Groningen and LSE. His research focuses on long-run socio-economic processes, including market evolution and occupational structures, with expertise in European and global history. He supervises PhD students in economic history, especially those using quantitative methods.
Chilosi holds a PhD in historical sociology from the University of Surrey, alongside degrees in economics and econometrics from the University of Essex and LSE.
