David Atkinson

Dr. David Atkinson is a Clinical Professor affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His work focuses on addiction treatment, particularly as a pediatric disease, and aggression in children. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, followed by psychiatry residency at UT Southwestern and child/adolescent psychiatry residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also holds a Mayo Clinic Fellowship in addiction treatment (2010).
