David A. Santacroce is a Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic at the University of Michigan School of Law. His work focuses on civil rights, housing law, consumer credit, and health care. He founded the Center for the Study of Applied Legal Education (CSALE) and Equal Justice America, both nonprofit organizations advancing legal education and public interest law. Santacroce previously served as Michigan Law’s first Associate Dean for Experiential Education (2013–2019) and as Senior Staff Attorney at the Sugar Law Center for Economic and Social Justice.
