Matthew Yelovich is a Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School and an Adjunct Professor at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. He serves as the Appellate Chief in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, overseeing government briefing and argument at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Previously, he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of California, focusing on white-collar crime and public corruption, and clerked for Judge Reena Raggi of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He holds a law degree from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
