Dr. David A. Conley is a Lecturer in the Department of Performing Arts at Clemson University's College of Arts and Humanities. He teaches music courses and directs the choral ensembles Tigeroar and TakeNote, founded in 1997. As a multifaceted professional, he also serves as a freelance conductor, clinician, composer, and arranger, producing works for churches, schools, and orchestras. His international engagements include speaking at creativity-focused arts conferences and leading annual seminar trips to England and Ireland. Locally, he is the choir director and lead pianist at Christ Community Church in Simpsonville and performs with the jazz/blues band Sonic Bacon and Celtic ensemble Emerald Road.
