Dave Snow is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Guelph, within the College of Social & Applied Human Sciences. His research focuses on assisted reproductive technologies, constitutional law, federalism, and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Calgary and was a Killam Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University (2014–2015).
Dr. Snow’s work examines topics such as the regulation of embryo research, biobanking, and the Supreme Court of Canada’s jurisprudence on Charter rights. He is the author of *Assisted Reproduction Policy in Canada: Framing, Federalism, and Failure* (2018) and co-author of the textbook *Law, Politics, and the Judicial Process in Canada* (5th edition, 2024). His research also explores media portrayals of contentious issues like the Notwithstanding Clause and cannabis policy diffusion across provinces.
Key awards include the Killam Postdoctoral Fellowship. His publications span constitutional law, bioethics, and policy studies, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to governance and rights-based frameworks.
