Dave Smith

Dr. Dave Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University's Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences. He serves as Research Degrees Coordinator and Deputy Leader of the MSc pathways in Sport and Exercise Sciences. As an active researcher in the Musculoskeletal Science and Sports Medicine centre, he maintains professional practice as a sport psychologist working with athletes across skill levels.

Research Focus:

• Imagery techniques for performance enhancement
• Rehabilitation through resistance training
• Decision-making processes in sports professionals
