Dr. Dave Beech is a Reader at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts, part of the University of the Arts London. His research focuses on the intersection of art, labor, and political economy, particularly exploring the economic exceptionalism of art and its social implications. He has authored influential books like Art and Value (2015) and Art and Labour (2020), and his work critiques capitalist modes of production in artistic contexts.
