Dario Kohlbrenner, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in exercise physiology and pulmonary rehabilitation. He is affiliated with the Chronic Lung Disease Epidemiology team, focusing on the development of innovative training methods for pulmonary rehabilitation and the study of hypoxia and skeletal muscle physiology. His work bridges clinical applications with epidemiological research.
Education:
- BSc and MSc in Physiotherapy (specializations in Sports Physiotherapy and Pulmonary Rehabilitation)
- PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Zurich
Research Interests center on exercise physiology, pulmonary rehabilitation, and muscle physiology. He has contributed to the validation of measurement tools, including patient-reported outcomes and physical activity assessments, while designing behavior change interventions for chronic lung disease populations.
