Dr. Darina Dintcheva-Bis serves as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick since October 2017, holding key responsibilities including Assessment and Feedback Coordinator, Curriculum Reviewer, Exam Paper Assessor, and Module Content Coordinator. She is actively affiliated with the Centre for Research in Economic Theory and its Applications (CRETA) and the Political Economy and Public Economics (PEPE) Research Group.
Her academic credentials comprise a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Computer Science from Sofia University, Bulgaria.
Research interests center on Economic Theory and Political Economy, with emphasis on the political feasibility of economic policies as reflected through her PEPE group involvement. Teaching responsibilities span lectures for EC221 Mathematical Economics 1B and EC301 Mathematical Economics 2, seminars across multiple economics modules, and MSc dissertation supervision (EC959).
She maintains regular student contact through Wednesday advice hours in term time and is explicitly available for Masters Research and PhD student supervision.
