Darija Lunić is a researcher at Singidunum University, affiliated with the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. She holds a PhD in Tourism Management from Singidunum University, preceded by a Master’s degree in Tourism Systems from the same institution, and a Bachelor’s degree in Italian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy. Her research focuses on sustainable tourism development, particularly slow tourism, rural tourism revitalization, and the integration of technology in education and tourism management. She has also explored topics like hybrid teaching models in foreign language education and the impact of information technologies on tourism industries.
Her work bridges cultural heritage preservation with tourism strategies, as seen in studies on UNESCO sites and Cittaslow movements. Recent contributions address challenges in hybrid education and the role of digital tools in smart rural development. Lunić’s publications span academic journals and international conferences, emphasizing practical solutions for sustainable tourism and educational innovation.
