Daria Motamedi

Daria Motamedi, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology and Quality Champion for the Musculoskeletal Imaging Section at UCSF's Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. She completed her medical degree at the University of Minnesota and residency at Cedars-Sinai/UCLA Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at UCSD. Dr. Motamedi specializes in musculoskeletal ultrasound and orthopedic MRI, with research interests in sports medicine and AI applications in imaging.

She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and 47 abstracts, and serves on committees such as the Society of Academic Bone Radiologists and UCSF Radiology Residency Selection Committee. Her awards include the Radiological Society of North America Cum Laude Award and Excellence in Reviewing from Skeletal Radiology.

Dr. Motamedi is a founding member of the UCSF Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Committee and actively contributes to professional organizations like the Radiological Society of North America. Her work spans clinical practice, education, and advancing imaging techniques in musculoskeletal disorders.
