Dara M. Steinberg, PhD, serves as Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology with joint appointments in the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at Columbia University. She holds the position of Psychosocial Director in the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
Dr. Steinberg earned her BA in Psychology with honors (magna cum laude) from Brown University and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Her clinical psychology training included internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine.
