Jonathan M. Feldman

Jonathan M. Feldman is a Professor of Psychology at Yeshiva University's Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, with secondary appointments at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Pediatrics and Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. His research focuses on integrating psychological theory with health behavior change interventions for asthma management, emphasizing cultural factors, depressive symptoms, and mobile health (mHealth) applications.

As director of the Psychology of Asthma Lab in the Bronx (asthma epicenter), he collaborates with pulmonary physicians to address systemic barriers like cultural health beliefs, caregiver mental health, and social determinants of health. His work includes developing the ASTHMAXcel mobile app to improve symptom perception in children.
