Professor Charles Swencionis is a Professor of Psychology at Yeshiva University's Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and holds joint appointments in Epidemiology/Population Health and Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He co-founded the Clinical Psychology (Health Emphasis) PhD program at Ferkauf and Einstein with Dr. Gilbert Levin. His roles include supervising the Obesity Treatment Service at the Parnes Clinic.
Education: PhD in Psychology (1978, Stanford University), postdoctoral fellowships at Langley-Porter Institute (UCSF) and Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Psychiatry Department. Undergraduate honors include Henry Rutgers Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa.
