Dr Dara Dimitrov is a Lecturer at the Te Piringa Faculty of Law, University of Waikato. She holds a PhD in Charity and Accounting Law and has taught since 2017 in areas including Land Law, Business Law, and Equity & Succession. Her research focuses on Māori land law, sustainability accounting, and charity regulation. She has collaborated with local councils on Māori stakeholder engagement and serves on editorial boards like the Waikato Law Review. Recent work includes studies on urban beekeeping's role in sustainability and fiduciary obligations in historical land leases.
