Associate Professor Daphne John holds dual affiliations in Sociology and Comparative American Studies at Oberlin College's College of Arts and Sciences. She specializes in social research methodologies, educational equity, and the sociological analysis of sports. Her recent work includes a 2024 presentation at the American Sociological Association Annual Meeting in Montreal, co-authored with Christie Parris, focusing on leveraging research methods for departmental assessment.
