Daoguo Zhou

Daoguo Zhou is a Professor of Biological Sciences at Purdue University, specializing in cellular microbiology with a focus on Salmonella pathogenesis. His research investigates how Salmonella typhimurium manipulates host cell actin cytoskeleton and signal transduction pathways during infection. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa (1995) and has extensive experience in bacterial invasion mechanisms, host-pathogen interactions, and G-quadruplex DNA structures in oncogene regulation.
