Danuta Kaminski

Danuta Kaminski holds multiple roles at the Department of Earth Sciences, University College London, including IT, Digital & E-Learning Resources Manager; Departmental E-Learning Champion; and Data Protection Coordinator. Her responsibilities encompass IT systems management, web development, and digital infrastructure support for teaching and research. She is stationed in G18, Ground Floor, Kathleen Lonsdale Building.

In teaching, she contributes computing components to courses like GEOL0029 (Seismology I) and GEOL0020 (Field Geophysics), focusing on digital mapping, data analysis (Matlab/Excel), UNIX scripting, and graphic design skills. She also provides specialized IT support for research projects and digital learning environments.

Her technical expertise spans systems administration, network management, and training in Mac/UNIX/Linux environments. She actively champions data protection protocols and manages the department’s digital presence through server maintenance and webmaster duties.
