Danny Clegg is an Associate Professor and Visiting Fellow at London South Bank University (LSBU), serving as Digital Lead for the Institute of Health Sciences and Community (iHSC). He chairs the Disability Network (DNet) at LSBU and is interim Allied and Community Health (ACH) EDI committee chair. His roles include teaching and research in healthcare education, digital competencies, and accessibility. He holds a Senior Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and collaborates with NHS and Higher Education England (HEE).
Education: PGCE (Research, 2013), Master of Chiropractic (2011).
Research focuses on technology-enhanced learning, healthcare education, and accessibility. Notable projects include studies on musculoskeletal aspects of COVID-19, osteoarthritis treatments, and AI in education.
Awards include the 2019 Guardian award for advancing staff equality and 2024 LSBU Diversity in Curriculum Award. He supervises PhD students in research methodologies and healthcare fields.
Collaborations include NHS working groups on digital education and Business Disability Forum initiatives. He contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to education equity and healthcare access.
