Danielle Sterling is a Clinical Professor and holds the position of Dean's Fellow. Her research focuses on emotional dysregulation, mood, perception, cognition, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder in child and adolescent populations. She employs neuromodulation techniques (tVNS, neurofeedback) and neuroimaging (EEG, fMRI) in her studies, with an emphasis on intersectional perspectives involving Black and neurodivergent communities.
