Danielle Roth-Johnson serves as Professor-in-Residence and Director of Gender and Sexuality Studies within the Department of Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), College of Liberal Arts. Holding a PhD from Stanford University, she has previously taught at Penn State and the University of Texas-Arlington.
Her research spans ecofeminism, reproductive justice, and French feminist theory, with significant contributions to climate justice and bioethics. Current work includes critical analysis of Françoise d'Eaubonne's ecofeminist theory. Her teaching portfolio encompasses Feminist Theory, Gender/Sexuality & Religion, and Climate Justice across multiple departments including French and the Honors College.
Publication trends reveal sustained engagement with Latin American social policy (abortion attitudes, autism policy), educational models, and foundational work in French discourse analysis. Her scholarship consistently intersects gender studies with environmental, health, and educational justice frameworks.
