Danielle K Cuevas

Danielle K Cuevas is a Commander in the U.S. Navy and a faculty member at the Graduate School of Nursing at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She serves as the Phase 2 Site/Research Director at the Nurse Anesthesia Program, affiliated with Jacksonville Naval Hospital in Florida.

Research Focus: Dr. Cuevas specializes in optimizing perioperative care for elderly patients. Her work centers on ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) protocols to mitigate postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) and postoperative delirium (POD), aiming to improve outcomes through evidence-based anesthesia practices.
