معرفی
Danielle Griffani is a Lecturer in Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Southern Cross University. With expertise in plant water relations and soil physics, she bridges engineering principles with plant physiology to study soil-plant-atmosphere interactions.
- Education: PhD (2019) and BEng (First Class Honors, 2013) from The University of Sydney, Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy (2008), and BCom (2005) from the University of New South Wales.
Her research develops analytical models and numerical tools to predict soil and plant responses to environmental changes, using stable isotopes, gas-exchange, and neutron imaging. Recent work focuses on plant hydration mechanisms under climatic extremes.
Danielle teaches sustainable engineering, soil mechanics, geotechnical engineering, and mathematics units in the Bachelor of Engineering program. Her publications span hydraulic networks, isotopic enrichment, and transfer dynamics in fractured media.
- Scientific Awards: University Medal from The University of Sydney (2013).
