Danielle Gold is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science and Director of Counseling at Saba University School of Medicine. She holds a DBH (Doctorate in Behavioral Health) and a Master's in Counseling, with certifications as a US board-certified counselor (NCC) and counselor supervisor (ACS). Her career spans 15+ years in international school counseling, humanitarian aid, and academic leadership.

Her research focuses on the intersection of economic empowerment and mental health in marginalized women, creative writing as therapy, and yoga therapy. She has designed psychosocial support programs for refugees and low-income populations in West Africa and Europe, notably a pilot program in Greece documented in the film Vocational Training and Psychosocial Support for Refugees.
