Daniela Pauletto

Daniela Pauletto is a Professor at the Institute of Biodiversity and Forests at the Federal University of Western Pará in Santarém, Brazil, where she has been employed since September 5, 2014. Her research focuses on Amazonian tree ecology, agroforestry systems, and sustainable land management in the Amazon biome.

Dr. Pauletto earned her Master's degree in Tropical Forest Sciences from the National Institute of Amazonian Research in Manaus, Brazil, between March 2004 and April 2006. Her educational background provided the foundation for her extensive work in tropical forest ecosystems.

Her research spans several interconnected areas within tropical forest ecology and sustainable land use. She investigates the composition, structure, and dynamics of Amazonian tree flora, with particular attention to how traditional and modern agroforestry systems can promote biodiversity conservation while supporting local livelihoods.
