Daniel Walter is an Associate Professor of German and Linguistics at Emory University's Oxford College, specializing in second language acquisition, psycholinguistics, and German language pedagogy. He earned his BA from Dickinson College, MA from Michigan State University, and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University.
His research examines cognitive mechanisms in language learning, focusing on morphosyntax acquisition, pedagogical interventions, and heritage language contexts.
